Sasha Hoare makes films and videos for a range of organisations including Booktrust, the Arts Award, the Arvon Foundation and the Southbank Centre, and works with community groups and young people on filmmaking projects. Her work includes documentaries, theatre trailers, film-poems made in collaboration with writers, videos for literary awards and resources for teachers.
Sasha has a background in arts education and literature development. She has worked in several schools through Creative Partnerships and offers INSET sessions on using video in the classroom.

Current projects…
Working at the wonderful Springwell Junior School in Hounslow where Year 5 children are creating abstract films inspired by themes in Romeo and Juliet. Researching the topic of air quality for a project in Camden schools with Creative Health Lab, and getting excited about going to Arvon’s The Hurst to work with up and coming writers.
